Item Group is a way to classify items by type.
How to find Item Group?
Home – Stock – Items and Pricing – Item Group
If you need a group item but it’s not in the item group tree basic, you can add new group Item, follow the steps below :
- Search “Item Group Tree” in Search bar
- Click New
- Click All Item Groups
- Click add child, add new item group name you want (You can also checklist group node if you want create new category below All item groups)
- Click Create New
If you want to delete an Item Group :
- Select the item group you want to delete
- Select Delete
- Click yes
If you want to rename an Item Group :
- Select the item group you want to rename
- Create new name
- Click rename
If you want to make some default to Item Group :
- Select the item group you want to make a default
- Click edit
- You can edit

- Default Pricelist
- Default Buying/Selling Cost Center
- Default Supplier
- Default Expense/Income Account
- Item Tax
- Item Tax Template
